Perhaps you’ve heard of this trend—avocado toast?
You’ll find it on every café, brunch, lunch, and snack menu, Instagram profiles, and even in the news. Trendy, delicious, hearty and healthy, there’s no wonder why there’s been a renewed sense of love for the avocado. It was all the rage in 2018.
But it’s 2019 now. So there’s a new kind-of avocado snack making the rounds.
It’s an amazing twist on a tried-and-true classic that we’re happy to stand behind, especially if it’s paired with our Stonefire® Naan. Our naan is hand-stretched and made with quality ingredients, giving it that pillowy texture and buttery taste people know and love. That’s also what makes it the perfect base for all avocado-related recipes.
And it looks like others have jumped on the avocado naan bandwagon! We’ve included some recipes from our fans below. A little inspiration for the next time you have some avocado on hand.
It’s right in the name – quick and easy avocado naan au naturel. Just like the classic – toast our Stonefire® naan, spread smashed avocado, add a slice of fresh tomato and top with an egg cooked to your liking. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and you’ve got yourself a fast snack.
This recipe is a great appetizer or meal for al fresco dining. Do it in minutes! Start with our bite-sized Naan Dippers® and spread either goat cheese or avocado (or both!) and top with fresh veggies. We recommend grape tomatoes, radishes and cucumbers, but feel free to experiment. Add some diced fresh herbs for a flavorful kick.
Who needs to go out for brunch when your home cooked meal can look like it came from a restaurant? Start with toasted or grilled Stonefire® naan spread with herbed cheese and smashed avocado. Top it with a fried egg with a squeeze of lemon, a dusting of red pepper flakes, pepper, salt, and a drizzle of olive oil. Add the microgreens and voila.
Add some heat! This recipe calls for a Stonefire® naan base with spicy chipotle, diced sundried tomatoes and flaked tuna mixed in a bowl then layered on top of a bed of lettuce. Arrange some avocado slices on top with diced herbs of your choice.
This ducked-out naan recipe couldn’t be simpler. Compared to chicken eggs, their yolks are a bit bigger and heartier, making it a delicious and creamy pairing with avocado and naan.
