For the Chalupa Shells:

  • 4-Pack Stonefire® Original Mini Naan
  • Vegetable oil for frying

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Sour cream, for topping


  • Prepare the Chalupa Shells: Heat vegetable oil in a heavy bottom pan to 350°F . Carefully place one mini naan at a time into the hot oil and fry for about 1-2 minutes on each side. Use a metal spatula and tongs to fold the naan in half, creating a taco shell shape and fry for an additional minute or two. Once the naan is golden brown and crisp, use a slotted spoon to remove and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. Repeat this process for the remaining naan.
  • Prepare the Filling: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through.
  • Assemble the Chalupas: Take each fried naan shell and fill it with the seasoned ground beef. Layer with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese. Finish with a dollop of sour cream.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy. Feel free to further customize the fillings with your favorite toppings or condiments. Yum!
